Cayes Jacmel

People living in Cayes Jacmel on Haiti’s southern peninsula had been walking a long way for water for a long time. For a while we thought we might not be able to get a well in there because there wasn’t a road that allowed a drill rig to get to a good spot for a well. No problem –  the church just built a new road. Now there’s clean water within an easy walking distance for people in the town.

EARTHQUAKE UPDATE:

This well has been reported to be in working order and available to the community.
