The rains had washed out a bridge on the way to Digue Proby. That meant a detour for the drilling rigs down a narrow road next to a canal full of run-off from the recent rains. When two large trucks met it was very close and at times there was great discussion about who would move over. But the big red drilling rig made it back to the highway and to the site at Digue Proby. There was plenty of runoff water in the canals and people were bathing and doing laundry there. But once this well is completed it will provide this community with clean, save water!
On our way home, there was a young child dipping water from a rain puddle into a big white bucket. Pray that soon her community will have a well or cistern, so she can have clean, safe water also!
