The only source of water in Dupui was a shallow river basin which served as the grounds for the weekly marketplace, place to wash clothes and person, and drinking water. Since receiving a well, many don’t need to make the several mile round trip to carry home gallons of dirty water for their daily needs. Not only does the well make life much easier, but its clean water is bringing health to hundreds.
