The thousands of people in Leogane, Haiti (west of Port-au-Prince) can walk to a nearby church for clean, safe water since a well was installed January 2009.
EARTHQUAKE UPDATE:
While many homes and buildings were destroyed by the catastrophic earthquake on January 12, 2010, the well at Leogane is still in working order and is providing water to the community.
