People living in Marigot, Haiti, were walking 2 hours round-trip to get a little water. Last year’s hurricanes had destroyed a water system that pulled water from a spring to a spot near the community. But now, through the Haiti Water Project, they can now walk a few minutes to a local church to get clean water from a well.

EARTHQUAKE UPDATE:

While Marigot has suffered damage from the recent earthquake, the HWP well is operational and providing clean water to the community.
