Before this well was drilled on the property of a local church and school for music, community members were paying for small baggies of drinking water and using unsafe water for tasks such as bathing and laundry. Now, more than 500 people are benefiting from clean, safe drinking water. After suffering through tremendous loss in the January earthquake, this well is a sign for the community that the future holds brighter opportunities.
